Wikileaks-founder Julian Assange got charged with having committed sexual offences towards two women when he went to Sweden in the summer 2010. Since then the Swedish government have been trying to get him handed over by the British government. In the summer 2012 the British government were to hand him over to Sweden, but Assange was granted a political asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
